My name is Mick Marlow AKA Rambla, and I'm a 36 year old music producer from the east of England.  I have been making music for years on and off, but over the last couple of years I have been working hard on my production skills in order to make release quality music.  

I would describe my music as bass heavy with big beats and catchy melodies, but I do not like to confine myself to any specific genre.   I spent a lot of my teens and early 20's listening to Drum'n'Bass and Jungle and naturally moved onto Breaks and Dubstep, so you will be able to hear a lot of those influences in my music.  I think music production should be about making music that comes from within, so some days I write bright happy tunes and other days I write dark, moody ones!  Some producers choose to work under different aliases, but so far I have always stuck with Rambla, whether that changes in the future remains to be seen...

The brief history behind my name comes from around 16 years ago when I used to do a bit of junglist MCing.  MC Rambla was my name and so I have taken it with me into my producing era!  So far in my short career I have had a couple of remixes released, nothing out of the ordinary as yet, but I am working on my first EP which I hope to have ready for around June 2012 for release on Bit Rowdy Records.
